Dr. Ellie R. Amirova DAOM, PhD, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), LAc is a Kazakhstani-American acupuncturalist and food scientist currently based in La Mesa, California, United States. She has developed immune-stimulating non-alcoholic beverages, as well as bread products with hypoglycemic properties,[1] for which she holds patents.[2][3]
Early life and education
Ellie R. Amirova was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2013, she began her studies in modern clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine (Herbs and Acupuncture) at the Chengdu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China.
In 2015, she obtained a DAOM (Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California, United States.
In 2017, she graduated with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
In addition, Dr. Amirova co-founded ETMO Group LLC in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she served as Chief Physician.[4] She is also Founder and CEO of Succurro Inc. in California, United States.

Research
Dr. Amirova has numerous publications on food science and traditional Chinese medicine. Her publications have included innovative research on specialized bread products[7] and Chinese herbs[8][9] for diabetics.[10] She has also published papers on how Chinese herbs can improve memory,[11] in addition to various studies on the flours of Dioscorea opposita (a type of tuber)[12], oat bran[13], and wheat.[14]
