Chad Troutwine (born May 23, 1968) is an American Independent film producer and successful entrepreneur.

Biography

As a child, Chad's parents encouraged his entrepreneurial spirit and placed a high value on education. Chad earned a perfect score on the Stanford Achievement Test, and graduated high school at the age of sixteen. Chad earned his BA from Arizona State University at nineteen, and went on to earn a JD from the University of Missouri, graduating with honors, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. While at Yale, Chad met Markus Moberg, and together they launched Veritas Prep, a successful GMAT preparation and MBA admissions consulting company.[1]

In recognition of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Forbes magazine named Chad their 2002 Forbes Future Capitalist of the Year.

Film History

In January 2001, Chad established his own film company, Chad Troutwine Films. His films have premiered at Sundance and Cannes, featuring many prominent actors/actresses (such as James Wood, Christina Ricci, Vince Vaughn, and Natalie Portman), and directors (such as Joel and Ethan Coen and Alexander Payne).[2]
