InventHelp® is an inventor service company headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. InventHelp has sales offices in more than 60 cities in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, South Korea and Germany. The company attempts to submit clients' invention ideas to industry for review. InventHelp also offers patent referral services and invention prototyping packages. InventHelp's sister company, Intromark Incorporated, works with companies that may be interested in licensing or acquiring rights to InventHelp clients' invention ideas.

InventHelp also holds the largest inventor trade show in the United States – the annual INPEX Invention & New Product Exposition. The show, which started in 1986, brings inventors together with industry representatives in one convenient forum. Companies such as Clorox, Tupperware, Ronco, Johnson & Johnson, Skymall, Church & Dwight, Procter & Gamble, and numerous others have conducted private product reviews at INPEX to search for ideas to add to their existing product lines.

InventHelp and its employees are heavily involved in community service projects around the Pittsburgh, PA headquarters. Each year, InventHelp employees participate in such functions as the Komen Race for the Cure, holiday food drives for the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, Make-A-Wish, and blood drives for the Central Blood Bank.[2]

Invention Scams

In recent years, InventHelp has been very active in combatting widespread fraud within the invention industry. The American Inventors Protection Act of 1999 sets forth several requirements that must be followed by invention companies.[3]
